Brewster Pratap are exclusively working with an increasingly successful company in Mansfield. They are looking for a senior HR advisor to drive new policies and the recruitment process to ensure these are in line with the ever growing success of the company.


The senior HR Advisor will have responsibilities that include overseeing the recruitment process, including the attraction, appointment, development and retention of qualified skilled employees.

The right candidate will help to shape the brand strategy, by supporting the design/review of company policies to positively affect culture change. To be successful in this role, you should be an experienced HR professional, have applied payroll knowledge, display a positive can do attitude to challenges and be a self-motivated innovator.

Deliver the operational day to day responsibilities of HR, including but not exclusive to;

* Calculate and process salary adjustments to reflect changes to employment contracts
* Monitor wellness figures and advise/deliver on proactive steps to sustain/improve data
* Take a key role in end to end recruitment campaigns
* Support staff and line managers with policy compliance
* Review existing policies and procedures to reflect future business requirements referring to legislation and statutory regulations.
* Be the subject matter expert for disciplinary and grievance advice and guidance, maintaining documentation and records to meet ACAS codes of practice.
* Use networking skills to consult with best in field and support horizon scanning of future opportunities
* Develop/review process’ for transactional HR tasks
* Support the development of brand strategy and assist the Senior Leadership Team to embed the ethos across the whole company workforce

This is a generalist role, reporting in to the Head of People Development. This will provide HR support throughout the company.

* CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources or similar equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 3 year experience working in a HR environment.
* Payroll processing knowledge including strengths in Mathematics and formula based spreadsheets
* Excellent time managed skill; organised and methodical ways of working
* Resilient and solution focused approach to challenges
* Professional manner to encourage trust and confidence; building rapport and employee engagement.
* Emotionally intelligent individual, with clear aspirations and drive to develop


* Project management skills; ideally with a formal qualification or willingness to obtain
* GCSE in Mathematics (Grade C)
* Effective communication skills, which have been practiced and honed through a variety of media methods
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance
* Inspiring, creative thinker with authentic ideas
* Logical problem solver
* Approach tasks in a results driven manner whilst maintaining a strong people focus
* Undertake collaborative stakeholder engagement to foster positive relationships
