Our client is currently recruiting a Workday Project Manager who will design, integrate, test and deploy a range of technologies required to support the interaction between staff and the HR delivery Centres. This is a 6 month role, based in South West London, easily accessible from London Waterloo or Clapham Junction, and there is free onsite parking.

The successful candidate will work with core product owners, the Scrum Team, various SET SI partners and the wider Programme team. You will ideally understand shared service centre models and core technologies required to operate these, ensuring they can drive the project management in a content-rich way, facilitating across many linked and dependent workstreams and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
• Previous experience of deploying shared service models and underpinning technology to manage and deliver the integrated SET plan
• Manage the integrated SET plan to deliver on time, to scope and within budget in a safe and reliable manner
• Working closely with the Chief Product Owner to support the oversight of delivery across SET technologies and product ownership suite Manage the specific SET governance model required to obtain decisions and inputs as required supporting the product teams/scrum masters
• Engage with the appropriate WSP members to manage the SET governance and the WSP governance
• Work closely with WSP workstreams project managers, collaborating with them to understand and track dependencies on other workstreams
• Provide PM reporting and PMO inputs to the wider WSP Manage governance of the applications, including major projects, enhancements, change control, assurance and access control procedures.
• Represent the SET workstream in relevant programme forums with the right level of information, experience, content etc.
• Support the regular release of SET product roadmap, including oversight of testing and release plans
• Manage the integration of Agile within the Waterfall approach of WSP, such as decisions, dependencies, RAID logs items, alignment of solution touch points, integration activities and testing
• Project manage the localisation and compliance of the SET product suite
• People Management:
o Manage workload to ensure team members are consistently managed and challenged.
o Promote effective teamwork in a cross Workstream collaboration and manage the resolution of interpersonal issues.
• Identify and onboard specialist resources where needed
• Ensure that the implemented solutions meet BP's compliance and data privacy requirements
• Deliver solutions that ensure operational integrity and on-going reliable availability of the systems to the business.
• Owns the design and execution of the detailed and integrated project plans for SET
• Maintain a project structure and the ways of working for the SET workstream, including and not limited to specific accountabilities behind product, integration, data and security management
• Project manage all data and process integration activities surrounding the SET solutions including and not limited to the My HR portal, Workday, Cornerstone, Active Directory or equivalent people data hub
• Identify and onboard specialist resource e.g. SET vendor SME’s where appropriate
• Produce a test and deployment plan for SET solutions that is consistent with the wider WSP deployment approach and service transition and track appropriately
• Manage the implementation of the SET support model
• Ensure proper training and documentation is available for end users

What we are looking for.
- Project management experience, acquired through multiple large project delivery in global organisations;
- Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall, ideally experienced in integrating Agile within a Waterfall-led programme
- Specific experience of operating within a complex global organisation which is geographically dispersed;
- Demonstrable experience of delivering Workday and complex integrations;
- Proven track record of influencing large teams of a diverse nature;
- Experience of working with the HR function;
- Risk & Issue Management.
- Proven experience of delivering Service Centre domain Technology projects with associated product/market related knowledge
- Digital Transformation related to CRM associated technologies
