This position, which reports to the Senior Director of Communications for Intercontinental Exchange, requires a talented and experienced communications associate who can work as part of a team and independently and has the ability to handle a variety of projects. Some experience in financial services, technology or business services is preferred. This position requires flexibility to support global communications, including public relations and marketing communications content across different channels. Collaboration with others throughout the global organization is critical, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Develop, execute and distribute internal and external communications materials for a variety of audiences, including media, employees and customers
  • Gain increasing responsibility for message development and the delivery of external messaging
  • Work with management and sales teams to develop messaging to promote product launches
  • Execute public relations activities and initiatives, including press releases, statements and responding to media questions
  • Support in the preparation and editing of corporate communications materials, including presentations and messaging for conference participation
  • Manage public speaking engagements and calendar by ICE management and employees in EU and Asia
  • Manage corporate media subscriptions and the distribution of daily news cycle and internal reporting of media coverage
  • Management of internal media contacts and database
  • Support the global corporate communications team, including media budget


  • Exceptional and proven writing and editorial skills, including message development and executive communications
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across various levels of employee groups and geographies
  • Experience with media relations and social media in a corporate setting
  • Event management skills, including evaluating opportunities, collaborating across functional teams (marketing, special events, social media), arranging briefings, and executing event.
  • Degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field
  • Ability to deal with many constituents in challenging situations
  • Experience with producing videos and/or managing intranet communications
  • Self-starter who is results oriented
  • Multi-tasking, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Confident presenter; strong oral and written communications skills
  • Team player
