Our travel industry client are looking to recruit a System Support Manager within their IT Operations team. You will be overseeing a team of 4 analysts, 2 who are based outside of the UK, who provide ongoing technical support to clients and company offices worldwide. Although it is a managerial role you will have to be involved in regularly monitoring the web systems, investigate and identify any escalated problems and provide solutions in terms of their online booking sites and XML B2B interface. The successful System Support Manager will need to insure all processes and procedures are being met, and will need to liaise with clients to meet their expectations.

The successful System Support Manager will have previous experience working in a technical managerial role or equivalent; have sound knowledge of XML, SQL and CRM. You will be a methodical, flexible and resilient individual who can liaise at all level and provide excellent support to your team, aswell as keeping clients and internal customers happy. You also need to have managerial experience, including holding reviews and 1 to 1`s.

It is essential that the System Support Manager MUST have worked for a travel/tourism company previously.
