Our client, a successful Island based business with an innovative approach; who have grown considerably over recent years and now boasts award winning status are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join their thriving team. The successful candidate will be expected to report to the Company Board; managing the full accounts function, including all financial and management accounting responsibilities as well as oversee small element of HR functions.

Duties and responsibilities include;

- Preparation of management accounts including profit and loss to compare to budgets and exploring variances
- Balance sheet control, analysis and review
- Preparation of monthly board pack
- Liaising with the Directors and supporting them with financial understanding and driving efficiencies
- Cash flow management
- Preparation of reconciliations of control accounts for all balance sheet items
- Managing Payroll & HR functions
- Contract costing and analysis
- Development of financial processes, procedures and more detailed operational KPI analysis
- Debtors management
- Overseeing and managing accounts team

In order to be successful you will be confident in your abilities, and held a previous position at management position or similar. Ideally you'll be CIMA or ACCA qualified as well have experience of driving improvement in systems, processes and procedures and be IT literate in both Sage 50 and advanced Excel, a working understanding of Zero would be of additional benefit.

This role is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with potential flexible working hours to suit. Please note due to our clients location own transport will be essential.
