Our client are cuurently looking to recruit a technical support analyst to join the team on a permanent basis This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills as our client delivers extensive training and development. This role will ideally suit someone who is either graduate who has graduated in an IT discipline who is looking to take the next steps in their career or someone who has some experience working in a support capacity who has touched upon SQL previously or is looking to be trained in this area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: -

•Delivering systems support and troubleshooting
•Writing and implementing MI reports
•Working on projects such as the onboarding of new clients
•Implementing new data interfaces
•Implementing systems workflows and calculations
•Supporting and working with other members of a high performance team
•Enhancing the functionality of third party software
•Developing technical solutions to enhance the operation of the business
•Meeting challenging SLAs
•Ad-hoc activities as determined by the Applications Manager
•Test and release of software changes
•Testing scheduled upgrades and releases of third party software
•Provide tier 2 support for service, incidents and problems
•Develop the systems MI and reporting capability
•Provide expertise to colleagues in the support team

Qualifications & Technical Job Requirements Essential
•GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above
•Advanced in the use of office applications, especially excel and word
•IT Literate
•Understanding of relational databases (preferably SQL)

•IT related degree
•Report writing tools e.g. Business Objects / Crystal Reports
•Data Analysis skills

Location: - Liverpool
Salary: - £22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
