A leading Asset Management organisation who trade globally are looking for a SQL Developer (SSIS, Data Analysis, SQL Server 2008/2012) to work out of their City London office focussing entirely on their database of financial information. This organisation work with large amounts of complex real-time financial data and are offering a great opportunity within a lucrative field.

This organisation work with real-time financial data extracted from Bloomberg and Reuters, requiring strong SSIS experience to integrate this data within SQL Server systems and financial applications. To be considered for the role as a SQL Developer (SSIS, Data Analysis, SQL Server 2008/2012), experience in the following is ideal:
- Excellent SQL Server development experience (essential)
- Strong communication skills (essential)
- Experience of technical development within a financial organisation (highly desirable)
- Solid technical understanding of SSIS (essential)
- Knowledge of the Financial Services market (highly desirable)
- Must be a passionate database developer, looking for a gateway into the financial sector (Must Have)
As a SQL Developer (SSIS, Data Analysis, SQL Server 2008/2012) you will be responsible for speaking with the board and business staff, gathering business requirements and performing development /reports from initial discussions through to data extraction. You will also be requires to configure and tweak the existing systems and products as well as build new versions from scratch. As a global organisation you will be an integral part of the UK operation and be given the opportunity to broaden your responsibilities. Not only this, you will also gain experience with Markit EDM, which is a lucrative skill to have within the financial sector as a database developer.
