Within this role, you will be running small invention classes and will be expected to assist the teacher in the planning and implementation of lessons.
To be considered for this KS1 Teaching Assistant role, the successful candidate must have the following:
< GCSE ‘C’ Grade or above in Maths, Science and English
< Degree Level of 2:1 or above.
< Have a genuine interest in education.
< Have a minimum of 3-months Teaching experience (Paid/Volunteer).
So, what is this Teacher Training Programme?
The programme is called Premier Pathways, and is a school based, two-year training programme. This programme is a paid route to QTS and gives you the time to develop your Teaching confidence at your own pace. You will receive high quality training and support throughout the programme and will have options to complete a masters after completion.
Key benefits of Premier Pathways:
• Fully paid throughout the 2 years of the programme - £70 per day for Term 1, £80 per day there after (averaging £15, 275 per annum)
• Upon successful completion of the programme Primary Trainee Teachers receive a PGCE with QTS through the University of Buckingham.
• Primary Trainee Teachers do not need to pay tuition fees and increase their level of student debt!
