BRC Promotions are an industry leading fundraising agency, based in Stockport. During the last 9 years, we have grown and developed partnerships with some of the most well-known charities in the UK. We are looking to grow our high performing fundraising teams, and are looking for bright and motivated individuals with exceptional people skills, looking to support truly amazing causes and build a genuine career path to come and work with us. This is not your conventional "sales" job; we pride ourselves on being the most ethical and professional fundraising specialist in the market and we would hate to be called "pushy."
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager and working in defined areas that only you operate in and have full ownership of, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Canvassing your area, going door-to-door championing the lottery draws our clients run
- Signing up high quality donors, who have a personal connection to the cause, using our PDA system
- Liaising with our friendly and fun office team for any queries or questions that need resolved
- Representing our clients proudly and professionally- you are the face of that charity
- Having great conversations with people- establishing the brand and ensuring future positivity associated with that charity
You will work 35 hours a week (Monday - Friday, between 1pm - 8pm, early start and finish on a Friday) within a 20 mile radius of your postcode.
Our fundraisers are most important roles in our organisation, so the right "fit" is vital. Previous fundraising, direct sales or door canvassing would be beneficial but is not essential- we're looking for the right person rather than a checkbox list of skills! We need you to be charismatic, friendly, and passionate about doing great things and a great communicator……and we can teach the rest!
There is the requirement to use a PDA system, so IT Literacy is required. As this is a field based role, you need to be physically able to be out on your feet for the duration of the day and a driver's license is preferred, but is essential if you are in a rural location.
