Job DescriptionAdministration: An organised & passionate Administration Officer is required to provide professional and efficient office-based support for a charity that works with unemployed adults and school children at risk of exclusion to give participants the tools to improve their lives.

The ideal Administration Officer will take pride in providing a supportive and progressive service to all frontline teams across the UK in their life changing work. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the successful candidate will join School of Hard Knocks (SOHK), a charity that promotes life skills and inclusion by teaching a strong set of values, attitudes, behaviours and skills. Rugby, boxing and strongman coaching and class-based sessions are combined to teach, demonstrate and impress the key messages.

In 2013, the charity won the Beyond London 2012 Employability Award, for continuing the Olympic legacy in London. It was shortlisted for the RFU President's Award in 2014. In 2015, its partnership with Accenture Strategy was recognised at the MCA Awards by winning the Social Innovation category.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Administration Officer to join an ambitious charity and really make this role their own. Regular training and mentoring will be provided, with the opportunity for career progression.

Responsibilities:
-Own all transactional processes within the charity such as financial processing and issuing invoices,
approving and scheduling payments, completing monthly reports to include cash flow and
management information and assist the COO and bookkeeper with inputting data into Receipt Bank
and Xero
-Database management of Salesforce to maintain the quality and consistency of data, inputting new
records, importing transactions and keeping fundraising pipelines up to date
-Office management duties such as; dealing with post, filing, organising the charity's physical
resources and keeping the office tidy and well-organised
-Work with the COO to roll out new processes and software across SOHK's four regional offices,
including producing how-to guides, offering face-to-face support for staff in implementing new ways of
working
-Assist the CEO, COO and other staff in fundraising, by helping to organise fundraising events
-Be the principle point of contact for SOHK's HQ and help to on-board new staff

Skills & Experience:
-Extremely driven and passionate to deliver the charity's objectives, in line with its values of Integrity,
Excellence, Empowerment and Commitment
-Meticulous and conscientious in completing tasks
-Self-motivated and confident in working independently to meet deadlines and targets
-Experienced and confident working with financial data, including using simple cashflow and
management information templates in Microsoft Excel
-Exceptionally organised and able to keep track of multiple diverse workstreams simultaneously
-Friendly, approachable and helpful in dealing with colleagues and partners
-Previous CRM experience, Salesforce (desirable)
-Experience using Xero (desirable)
-Financial management experience
-Dynamic with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a flexible approach to working
hours and locations where possible
