Care Assistant - Beauchamp House
We are looking for a full-time Care Assistant to join our residential care home Beauchamp House in Hatch Beauchamp near Taunton This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and friendly team. You'll help us deliver a first class service for our residents - duties include delivering high quality personal care, (including washing, dressing, toileting and bathing), carrying out personal appearance tasks (attention to nails, hair, clothes, teeth, hearing aids and spectacles), as well as being aware of each individual resident's history and utilising this knowledge whilst caring for them. Beauchamp House is a country house nursing home with a friendly and caring team. Pay - £8.58 per hour (or £8.78 for candidates with appropriate NVQ2 or NVQ3). Excellent training and support Please note, your own transport is essential given the location of Beauchamp House and the absence of suitable public transport in the area. This role will involve covering early and late shifts, alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays (plus pay enhancements). About you:- We are looking for someone with experience in the care sector ideally but this is not essential. This is a busy role but you're the kind of person who rises to a challenge, works hard, and is able to thrive in an environment with a lot going on. You'll also be determined to provide compassionate and excellent care for elderly people, have the ability to stay calm in a crisis, and work well as part of a team.
