Owen Payne Recruitment are looking for a experienced and capable Accounts Clerk to work within our automotive manufacturing client, based in Tipton.

Job OverviewTo provide administration and support to the Finance Function in the areas of all general accounting issues
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all processes relating to the efficient functioning of the Purchase Ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Raise debit notes in compliance with quality issues raised
  • Provide assistance in resolving ACP queries to maintain prompt processing of supplier invoices
  • Maintenance of vendor master files
  • Ensure all quality systems are implemented and continually work to improve quality standards/systems by actively communicating with the appropriate personnel
  • Work as a team member to continually improve the functions within the Finance Function
  • Provide general administration support for the Finance and HR Functions

Skills and Experience
  • Excellent IT skills and general knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Understanding of Purchase Ledger Processes
  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Meticulous, detailed, accurate and thorough
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical & methodical approach to workload is essential
