Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Due to continued success and growth, due to being on a very large number of conveyancing panels, my client is looking for 3 Paralegals/Legal Assistants to join their extremely successful and rapidly growing team.
You will be working within the Property/Conveyancing Department of this reputable specialised firm based in Newport on a permanent/full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy law firm where you can grow with the team and further your skills and experience.
Duties will include:
You will assist with both commercial and residential conveyancing matters. The work will involve dealing with caseloads of all pre and post completion property matters. - obtaining various copy files, building regulation and planning consents from local authorities, liaising with the Land Registry, carrying out pre-exchange and pre-completion searches, drafting contracts, liaising with clients.
You will have:
Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary (Secretary with extensive experience).Experience working within a Conveyancing/Property departmentGreat telephone mannerUsed to supporting fee earning Conveyancers with caseloadsThe ability to work with minimal supervision
