A fast-growing Financial Services company, doubling year on year with a loyal and fun team, based nr Blackpool.

Based in the head office, the Systems Analyst will play a key role within the systems development, release and support team, supporting users across 3 offices in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Analyst you will:

- Work with Business Analyst to understand business requirements that will deliver the required efficiency gains

- Convert high level requirements into technical specifications and supplier delivered RFCs

- Liaise with 3rd party software developers to effectively deliver software that meets business needs

- System test delivered software

- Resolve issues identified through UAT Test process to ensure that the solution delivers the required outcomes

- Ensure that all technical documentation is created- Act as 2nd Line Support for all LIVE software

- Develop internal software solutions using Share Point, Visual Studio and other available technologies

- Work with Suppliers to ensure that the Group is utilising the available technology to the maximum effect including internal configuration where possible

- Ensure that all solutions are properly documented using standard documentation templates

- Performing root cause analysis for key incidents

Experience required

* SQL - basic server skills practised in a 2nd line support / application support type role

* UAT (user acceptance testing)

* experience working with 3rd party software providers
