The successful applicant for this Chemistry Teaching Assistant role will be a graduate who has achieved at least a 2.2 in their Chemistry degree and is now looking to utilise their graduate knowledge in a school. The Chemistry Teaching Assistant will have a passion for their subject, they will have excellent subject knowledge and can communicate the complex scientific concepts in an effective and clear way.
This Chemistry Teaching Assistant position will see the successful graduate working exclusively in the creative Chemistry department, supporting the teaching and learning at both GCSE and A level. As a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, you will be working with the students both on an individual basis and in small “booster” groups. In addition to supporting the students with their work in the classroom, this role will require the hired Chemistry Teaching Assistant to encourage A-level students to apply for leading Universities and support them with their UCAS applications.
