Branch Cash Team Leader
Purpose of Role:
The Branch Cash Team Leader is responsible for managing the reconciliation of the restaurant takings declarations to the income received and posted to the control accounts.
This role has 2 direct reports.

Key Accountabilities:

Reconciliations
· To manage the automated overnight refresh and reconciliation in JDE. Updating GL dates and ensuring reconciliation criteria is correct. Run query Q to R at the beginning of each week.
· Agree distribution of reconciliations by type with team and take ownership of designated recs.
· Ensure control accounts are fully matched/cleared down and all journals posted within set time frames.

Resolving Queries
· Investigate, resolve where possible and raise journals to ensure that the control account balance relates to cash in transit and current discrepancies only.

Supervise Branch Cash Team
· Arrange weekly branch cash meetings, to share best practise
· Drive communication and provide support where needed to the team
· Oversee implementation of additional income streams

Period End Reporting
· Produce period end recs for all companies for 2810, 3214 and 3217.
· Monitor performance of team to identify areas of concern and escalate to Loss Prevention Manager

Financial Metric:
Branch Cash unreconciled balance kept on top of and reconciling differences journaled within set timeframes

Non Financial Metric:
Improve process within branch cash team
