Leisure/hospitality industry business - East Lancashire - Financial Controller in an expanding company.

Your new role
As financial controller you will manage the day to day running of a busy accounts department, as a mentor and supervisor of a small team of accounts staff you shall take ownership over the management accounting and deliver timely results whilst looking to improve and constantly evolve process and procedure. You shall lead and participate in all financial operations of the company including reporting to the Board, forecasting, invoicing and cash management, and supervise the accounts payable/receivable and payroll. Leading the monthly accounting close you shall also consolidate the monthly results. As Financial Controller you shall prepare forecasts of future performance of the business and complete preparation of annual budgets. An ever evolving and improving business you shall also support the implementation of new processes and controls and the implementation of new systems where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or be QBE. You will have experience as a leader and mentor within a small accounts setting within the leisure industry, ideally with hospitality or retail experience. You will have experience within a driven business and be a driven individual seeking consistent improvements and always looking to enhance finance within a business. A hands-on motivator you will also look to remain visible throughout the business and partner throughout.
