This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified accountant to join a successful business in an all-encompassing, hands on role. The role would suit a capable Assistant Accountant ready their next step in their career.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting of financial information and providing financial support to the senior management team. Working closely with the finance functions’ key stakeholders, strategically important customers and the wider team, the successful applicant will have a proven track record of building effective relationships, delivering solutions and will be able to demonstrate a track record of value creation.

The role;

•Responsible for production of weekly management accounts
•Development of reporting systems and data capture
•Analysis of weekly variances to budget
•Budget and forecast preparation
•Periodic balance sheet reconciliation’s
•Advising on financial impact of regional decisions
•Ad hoc projects as required by senior management
•Provide commercial finance support and guidance to key stakeholders through a business partnering approach
•Positively influence and strengthen working relationships with key stakeholders & customer

The person;

The ideal candidate will be part qualified CIMA or ACCA with comprehensive knowledge of UK GAAP, have advanced level knowledge of Excel and be competent in use of Word, Outlook & PowerPoint. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to influence at all levels and have a proactive, challenging nature and the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement.
