Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all new Finance processes are signed off, user acceptance tested and trained, any new Finance third party solution providers have been on boarded, IT has been User Acceptance tested, operational procedures have been tested, SLAs have been defined and agreed and reporting has been defined and agreed
  • All new Finance organisation structures in support of E-Commerce are resourced and trained and ready to support new E-Commerce propositions
  • Senior Finance stakeholder sign off of business models / new processes / new roles
  • Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management
  • Effect strong stakeholder management of all Finance stakeholders and other functional stakeholders who have an impact on business readiness in Finance and contract to ensure the Business Readiness work stream adds value and is aligned to stakeholder expectations
  • Where required, support the management and delivery of business change arising in Finance and the transition of project outputs into service delivery via appropriate stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Update senior Programme Management of when projects don't go according to plan, specifying what has gone wrong and what plan is in place to resolve the problem
  • Be the point of contact of any queries / ideas / problems that arise from the project
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
  • Ensure all reporting requirements have been put in place and reports signed off by business stakeholders
  • Key stakeholder interactions: Marketing, Sales & Service Controller, Finance, Global Finance Services Director RtR, PtP, OtC, VAT, Technical Accounting, Treasury, Process Owners and SMEs Other relevant Finance Process Owners/SMEs Finance Transformation PMO
  • Identify any training requirements and work with the appropriate teams to develop training where applicable
  • Ensure quality of and be responsible for the delivery of all Finance Business Readiness deliverables, required to effect legal, process, organisational and technical / digital change
  • Ensure delivery of the E-Commerce Finance Business Readiness work stream utilising Project Management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outputs in support of implementing E-Commerce projects
  • Ensure appropriate reporting structures are in place and operationally supported
  • Plan for and manage project risks, issues and dependencies to maximise likelihood of project success, escalating upwards where necessary
  • Key Skills Required for Submission:

  • Expertise in eCommerce change and delivery of change
  • Expertise of delivering transformation change in Finance for automotive or another blue chip company
  • Stakeholder Management expertise, specifically the ability to confidently advise and influence senior stakeholders
  • Commercially astute with an ability to understand the business function that this role supports
  • Education Preferred:
  • Relevant qualification and / or training in a recognised appropriate Project Management methodology
