Highways Licensing & Environment Enforcement Officer
An opportunity has arisen for an Enforcement Officer with experience in Highways Licensing and Environment to join a client in London. Your main duties include inspecting and enforcing a range of offences on the highways including licensing, illegal scaffolding, street furniture and enviro-crime as well as progressing the offences to prosecution stage
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £15 - £17 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
-Inspecting and enforcing a range of offenses on the highway (licensing, scaffolding, street furniture and enviro-crime)
-Patrolling the streets and the public highway according to the rota
-Progressing the offences and the FPN's (fixed penalty notices) to prosecution stage
-Investigating complaints regarding licensed & unlicensed activities on the highway
