Teacher of Geography
A school in Darlington need a passionate teacher of Geography, for a full-time role starting in September. The role will run until the Christmas holidays in the first instance, with a view to being extended. The role has come about due to an additional option group being added and part-time teacher leaving.
It is essential you have experience teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4. You will need to be passionate and innovative, teaching engaging lessons to a range of different needs. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-resourced department. it is desirable that you also have experience teaching another humanities subject, to add to the cross-curricular diversity of the department.
The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. The school will provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme, share good practice and encourage enrichment activities as part of the curriculum.
To be considered for the position of teacher of Geography you must:
*Have experience teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4
*Manage coursework and exam preparation
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
