Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking to appoint a hardworking, ambitious and experienced HLTA to join a 3 form entry school in the hearts of Slough, Berkshire.

This school encapsulate in the learning environment which they have created and are always striving to enhance. They also believe Teachers and Support Staff are models for their children.

This OFSTED ‘Good’ Primary School is in Slough, located close to Slough station and Slough bus station.

As a HLTA, you will be committed to providing the best possible support to children who require further support accessing the curriculum at the same time providing independency.

The school would like to meet a HLTA who will be flexible and adaptable in their approach to supporting the learning of the children in school.

You as a HLTA will be working in this ‘Good’ primary school across all year groups.
You will be a key member of the team at this school. Working co-side with the classroom teacher, you will participate in all stages of the planning cycle, including in lesson planning and evaluation. You will develop and prepare resources in accordance with the lesson plans. As a HLTA you will be expected to teach whole classes, provide verbal and written feedback, motivate and progress pupils’ learning using clear structured and motivating strategies and manage allocated Teaching Assistants. You will also be responsible to provide behavioural and pastoral support.
