We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified full-time teacher of Social Sciences to join our well-established and supportive Department.

The role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is an enthusiastic, talented and passionate teacher of Social Science with the ability to demonstrate exceptional skills to engage and inspire students in their learning. The applicant will be required to teach a full-time timetable that will include some or all of the following subjects:

Psychology/Criminology/Anthropology at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5

The successful candidate will be motivated and committed to working as part of a team, have strong, up-to-date subject knowledge and be committed to ensuring students in their care make exceptional progress.

Ofsted February 2017 confirmed the school continues to provide a good education for all of its pupils. They noted several strengths including "strong leadership, the quality of teaching, improving exam results, a vibrant sixth form, good behaviour, and an excellent level of care and safety".

We have an ambitious vision for our school driven by our excellent team to ensure our students experience as much Outstanding and Good practice as possible. In line with this, we are looking for a candidate who can regularly deliver lessons to these standards.

We are also an IB World School, offer the IBCP (International Baccalaureate Careers Programme), and are currently oversubscribed in year 7. We have a very positive team with high staff morale.
