An award winning marketing firm seeks a French Speaking Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing finance team on a one year fixed term contract. Based in their head office in central London, you'll be joining a dynamic, rewarding and ambitious environment. Only fluent French speakers will be considered for the role.

Role Responsibilities -

* Sales Invoicing - managing the processing of all the sales invoices on a daily basis. Ensuring that the correct documentation is received before the invoice is raised & recognised.

* Credit Notes -manage the processing of credit notes in a timely manner ensuring that all relevant approval has been received.

* Cash collection -processing the aging report, performing follow up with customers for outstanding invoices by phone and e-mail.

* Cash allocation - booking the receiving cash on a daily basis, contact customer for remittance, and reconcile any unidentified and unapplied payments.

* General accounting and month-end activities - account reconciliation between the balance sheet and general ledger, inter-company reconciliation of accounts, validate and process employee expenses, revenue recognition cut off and recurring month-end journal entries.

* VAT return - preparing the amount of collected VAT and the collected VAT reconciliation on a monthly basis.

* Project work will be required on an ad-hoc basis.

Candidate Requirements -

  • Fluent French Speaker
  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA studiers (or equivalent) are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in the above role responsibilities
  • Previous marketing experience would be beneficial however this is not essential
