They have an exciting opportunity for a Desk Based Account Manager acting as the initial point of contact for NHS and private hospitals. The industry background of the candidate is not an important factor - the ideal candidate will have a solid background in, and a real passion for, sales.

Role Summary:

Your goal with every call, either a cold call or a warm lead, is to have a successful conversation with the customer about how you can make a difference to them. You'll explore the customer's opportunities and challenges - and explain how your services can help them.

Your remit is to either close the sale on the phone or progress the call to a face-to-face meeting for the business development team, whilst delivering against your calling activity targets and KPIs. Passionate about building great relationships with customers, you've got what it takes to win new business. You thrive in a target driven sales environment, so you'll relish every opportunity to influence decisions and overcome obstacles.

What you'll bring:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a desk based role, selling services
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- A self starter with experience in cold-calling strategies and techniques to cultivate new customer relationships
- Understanding and experience of CRM and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding activity based KPIs and sales targets.
