Audit Engineer
Iceland Foods Ltd are currently looking to recruit and experience Audit Engineer to join our Central Services department.
The Audit Engineer role will involve travel to our high street stores throughout the North (further on occasion) to ensure that air conditioning maintenance contractors are carrying out contract works to the appropriate standards and timescales.
Our Audit Engineer will carry out in depth site audits and surveys in collaboration with the energy team to identify areas of waste, providing detailed reports and recommendations. They will also help confirm Iceland are compliant with all air conditioning legislation, including f-gas and EPB directives.

The successful candidate will need proven experience in investigating and rectifying minor controls and communications faults within retail stores or general sites.

• Site Audits: Through site audits, ensure the correct level of service is being provided by the mechanical services contractors.
• Reactive Repairs: Investigate and complete minor reactive repairs to controls and comms systems.
• EPB’s: Carry out EPB assessments to Iceland properties as required to ensure compliance.
• Data analysis: To analyse and provide feedback on reports generated through the Energy team.
• Store liaison: Provide interface between maintenance help desk and maintenance contractors over technical related issues
• Budget: Assist the Mechanical Services team with the control of operational contracts, and extra to contract works
• Administration: Oversee and ensure compliance by external contractors of the Call Management System (Compass).
• Business Advice: To provide accurate and timely advice to key stake holders as and when required
• External Relationships: Foster and maintain good relationships with Contractors, service providers and external bodies
• Professional Competence: Keep up to date with technical/professional advances and legislative changes in order to contribute to discussions around Iceland policy.

• Can demonstrate analytical ability
• Good communicator
• Competent on Excel
• Computer literate
• Self-driven, with ability to work on their own
• Willing to work away from home
• Electrically qualified.
• Relevant health & safety training
• EPB accredited, or working towards accreditation.
• Practical experience working on air conditioning / refrigeration system.
• Experience of fault finding and testing of controls systems.
