This is an exciting opportunity to join a national training and software company that is helping UK schools. You'll be part of a team that focuses on improving local communities and putting education at the forefront of its vision.

Familiarity with the UK schools would be useful, although not essential, they will provide training. You'll be expected to enthusiastically learn from others so you gain excellent business, product and sector knowledge. This will be crucial in achieving your objectives and will make you highly regarded within the company and amongst clients.

Role:

The objective of the individual in this role is to champion company products and services to schools and academies and make them a customer. You will be the voice and face of the company. You will contact head teachers, school business managers or bursars via telephone on a daily basis and meet them face-to-face at presentation and events. Your aim is to empower schools with the benefits of income generation and demonstrate the company can assist them to achieve their goals. You may be provided leads to contact but it will be your responsibility to source them directly and record all contact information into their CRM to avoid confusion with other team members.

Responsibilities:

- Set a shining professional example by living the company brand and values
- Contact schools, academies and relevant organisations to make them aware of company products and services
- Represent the business by attending trade and sector events and conferences
- Setup and present at onsite meetings with key decision makers such as Headteachers, School Business Managers and Governors
- Qualify, consult and close opportunities by providing sales proposals and pricing
- Handle objections by clarifying and working through differences to a positive conclusion
- Deliver onsite and online product demonstrations in a professional and engaging manner
- Source data on schools, academies and relevant organisations and identify new opportunities for sales campaigns
- Regularly research relevant education sector topics in relation to income generation, financial management, school business and competitor systems
- Forecast and report on sales targets and ensure they are met
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM and Pipeline management system
- Provide updates and make presentations to the senior management team
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Development and Service teams to improve products and services
