This is an opportunity to join an innovative, development and manufacturing company with a commitment to quality. Their refrigerant and energy monitoring equipment along with their in-house monitoring services are utilised within the retail, commercial and military sectors worldwide.

They are looking for a passionate and ambitious Sales and Marketing Assistant who will perform a key role within the Company and department.

The Role:
- Act as the office point of contact for the sales team.
- Take ownership of all administration tasks within the department.
- Deal with incoming customer enquiries and requests for information.
- Prepare, send and follow up on quotations as directed.
- Build good relationships with existing and new customers.
- Assist with all marketing needs within the company.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels ensuring that the company remains a leader in its chosen industry and market sectors.

Sales and Marketing Assistants responsibilities will include:
- Sales:
o Prepare, send and follow up on quotations as directed.
o Process orders.
o Check prices and contracts are up to date.
o Support the sales team with general operations to help reach the team's objectives.
o Take and make phone calls to and from new and existing customers.
o Communicate internally important feedback from customers.
o Deal with and respond to high volumes of emails.
o Attend sales team meetings - take and distribute meetings minutes.
- Marketing:
o Support onsite customer visits and meetings.
o Prepare marketing materials, e.g. printing and product launch packs.
o Prepare and send out communications, e.g. mailshots.
o Attend marketing agency meetings - take and distribute meetings minutes.
o Covering the telephone where necessary
o Any other duties as required

Candidate Profile:

- 6 GCSEs.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least two years' experience of working within a sales position.
- Have good IT (e.g. Microsoft Office) skills

In addition the following experience is desirable:
- Knowledge of CRM packages.
- Marketing Mix.
- Export sales.
