This leading language training provider works with a large number of freelance language teachers to deliver their foreign language courses in the UK as well as courses for private and corporate clients worldwide. The Operations Coordinator will ensure the operational efficiency of their language courses and maintain a positive relationship between the organisation and their wide range of foreign language teachers.

The Operations Coordinator reports directly into the Managing Director and works closely with the Language Courses Manager and the Head of Corporate Training.

Key Responsibilities Include

- To manage the operations team
- To manage the communications with all freelance teaching staff
- To manage the searches for new teaching staff and arrange the interviews on a continuous basis
- To assign teachers to the evening language classes; ensure each student group is profitable by not exceeding teachers' rates; communicate all logistical details of the courses to the teachers; maintain regular flow of information and dialogue with the teachers and other departments
- To ensure teachers complete their online class records through the system/emails
- To be responsible for assigning the appropriate course materials with the input of the teachers.
- Order all course books and materials for teachers and ensure timely delivery and best purchase price
- To be in charge of creating and submitting teacher invoices on a monthly basis
- To manage all teacher-related student and teacher feedback and field to the correct member of staff for solutions.
- To take the lead, and liaise with the MD and Language Courses Manager on new functionality and improvement of systems. Review the systems on a regular basis to increase productivity and bring about improved efficiency.
- Produce and present reports on teacher operations and recruitment as required
- Represent the organisation on social media platforms as and when is required
- Liaise with teachers to promote their courses as regional representatives and ensure they receive the marketing materials required

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience in an office environment
- Experience of learning a language in a classroom environment
- Fluent in a minimum of two languages
- Computer (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web literate

- Proven track record of working quickly in a pressurized environment
- Proven ability to find solutions and perform tasks within limited time frames
- Confident, self-motivated, pro-active, solution driven and enthusiastic
- Flexible team player, with excellent IT, communication and administrative skills
- Excellent people skills and customer service skills
- Excellent spoken & written English (Level C2 in the case of non-native speakers).


£21k - £24k dependent on experience
