Job Title:Payroll Administrator
Salary:£20K - £22K (DOE)
Location:North Devon

Acorn is currently working with a well-established business who is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. The suitable candidate will be responsible for processing client payrolls. Experience of running multiple payrolls in a Practice or Bureau environment is essential.

You will be joining a very friendly firm of accountants in a varied, interesting and busy role. Salary is negotiable for the right person and there are good company benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

*Processing client payrolls in a timely fashion
*Preparation of Year End returns for clients, including P14/P60s, P38a and P38s and P11Ds
*Resolving discrepancy's
*To have an extensive knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments e.g. redundancy, SMP/SAP, SPP and SSP when running client payrolls;
*Data entry
*Running management reports
*Responsibility for answering phone calls and dealing with payroll queries
*General payroll administration

Essential Experience Required:

*Payroll processing experience
*Auto Enrolment pensions deduction processing
*Confident on Excel
*Able to work well as part of a team
*Good attention to detail
*Strong communication skills

Desired Experience Required:
*Sage Payroll (advantageous)
