Primary duties include:
• Production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Preparing and Submitting monthly Applications for Payment (AFP) to strict deadlines
• Resolving AFP queries and ensuring they're invoiced in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on accrued revenue to prevent ageing
• Assist with credit control as required
• Creating monthly MI for each Contract
• Conducting Finance reviews with Contract Managers
• Compare actual results v budget/forecast and investigate variances
• Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes
• Month end Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Review Balance Sheet to ensure appropriate provisions are made within the accounts
• Finalisation of Year End accounts and produce supporting schedules for Auditors
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget
• Forecasting
• Assisting with the creation and monitoring of employee incentive schemes

Qualifications & Skills
• Sage 200
• IT proficient
• Excellent Excel skills
• Industry experience an advantage
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Proven experience of producing Management Accounts
• Would suit Part Qualified/QBE accountant
• Recognises importance of working to deadlines
