SQL Developer (Financial Services) - London

A highly successful financial services organisation based in St Paul's are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join their IT team.

As the SQL Developer you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and troubleshooting of a range of applications and SQL databases (including data warehouses). You will deliver new data mappings and processes to allow business units to load data into data warehouses and will maintain and improve the business reporting environments. You will also be required to carry out server configuration and back up support alongside providing documentation for all new processes. The ideal candidate will have gained exposure to the following technologies:

*SQL Server
*Business Objects
*Crystal Reports
*Data Warehousing
*Any exposure to .Net or SharePoint would be advantageous, although not essential

To be suitable for this SQL Developer/ Business Systems Analyst role you will ideally be degree educated, having studied Computer Science or another relevant subject. You will have a solid background in application design, requirements gathering, analysis, testing and implementation coupled with excellent SQL Server skills (using recognised ETL tools). You will have the ability to analyse sources of data and generate processing specifications. The ideal candidate will be logical, organised and customer focussed with exposure to the financial services industry sector.

The salary on offer for this SQL Developer role is £57,000 basic plus benefits including a 10% bonus, private healthcare, contributory pension scheme, life assurance and income protection.
