Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic financial services organisation that are seeking to recruit an experienced Customer Insight Manager to join their business.

The role will require you to support the wider marketing function in developing a more automated and targeted approach to all marketing activities and deliver a more relevant customer experience through all communications. By using various insight techniques and tools, the role will develop a full understanding of consumer habits both online and offline and use the insight to work with the wider team, (Sales, Proposition and Marketing) to develop appropriate contact strategies. You will work closely with Senior Stakeholders and Executives within the business to ensure that the Sales and Marketing Directorate objectives are met and insuring a cross function understanding of targets, goals and objectives

Duties will include:

  • Manage customer segmentation to enable accurate targeting of key groups to deepen relationships and maximise value from audience, establishing a go-to-market 121 communications strategy that supports the wider business ambitions
  • Further develop our digital analytics capabilities in order to gain further insight of online consumer behaviours which can be used to inform the wider marketing team to aid contacts and development strategies
  • Develop and manage our CRM, lead generation and marketing automation capabilities
  • Work with Data Team to define data requirements, including extractions and validation for direct marketing campaigns
  • Manage third party data sources to drive a targeted and segmented approach to marketing communications and activities

Key skills required:

  • Previous experience in data marketing and CRM is essential
  • Previous experience in an Insight role is essential
  • Financial services industry experience is highly desirable
  • Specialist knowledge of CRM system, current insight and marketing techniques is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of digital marketing is essential
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of how to validate the effectiveness of communications is desirable
  • Thorough working knowledge of predictive and statistical tools is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of regulated environments is desirable, preferably knowledge of Financial Promotions regulation
  • Degree or equivalent in marketing/business studies is desirable
  • Relevant professional accreditation - IDM or CIM is desirable
