Contract Service desk technician - Cambridgeshire - £20 p/h - £22p/h

Our client is a well established organisation with a strong reputation, based near to Cambridge. We have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Service Desk Technician.

Role Purpose
Provide the first and second line support for all IT based queries and issues. To resolve issues at first point of contact or take ownership as second line support. You will have experience providing quality customer service and be a motivated team player.

Essential experience
*Windows desktop and server support experience
*Experience of support of printers, laptops, desktops and arranging the repair of hardware equipment with 3rd party vendors
*Recognised qualification such as MSCE or MCP (preferred)
*ITIL understanding
*Understanding of networking technologies, eg. switches, firewalls, routers.
*Maintaining User records in Active Directory, Exchange and Sharepoint
