This role is for a graduate Teaching Assistant, working with a small number of pupils in a reception class, supporting the teacher and those pupils that have special educational needs. The role is full time, 5 days a week for the duration on the school year and is due commence at the start of the new academic year.

The school can be found in Ealing and is accessible via Northolt Station on the Central Line. The school are currently going through a focused program of improvement and the successful applicant will support this through their work supporting the class teacher, predominantly in the fields of English and Mathematics, so candidates must have high levels of literacy and numeracy. Candidates will be expected to support those pupils that require extra input through either special educational needs or those who’ve had a slow educational start to life.

This Teaching Assistant role will provide you with a variety of responsibilities and could involve working with groups or on a more 1-2-1 basis as required. Candidates must be able to form strong working relationships with both students and the class teacher. Candidates need to be extremely flexible, organised with the ability to use their initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
