At the heart of this service are our people. Highly customer focused and resourceful, our Claims Handlers use their skills, expertise and market knowledge to manage claims quickly and efficiently from first notification right the way through to settlement. Using a logical and measured approach to your claims caseload, you';ll be dealing confidently and tactfully with people over the phone with a flexibility to adapt to best manage each individual case.

Based in Haverhill town centre, we are seeking experienced Claims Handlers in addition to trainee Claims Handlers as full and comprehensive training will be given, to join our dynamic Commercial Motor Claims team. Dealing mainly through Brokers and suppliers, you will be proactively managing a portfolio of claims, determining all the facts by phone, post or email, before making an informed decision on the correct path for the remainder of the life of the claim.

Some experience of insurance claims handling would be beneficial, but more importantly we are seeking candidates with a passion for delivering continually excellent customer service.

You’ll receive extensive training in our insurance products, IT systems and call handling techniques - you will be fully supported throughout the comprehensive 6 week training programme. Upon completion of the training programme, you’ll know our insurance policies inside out and you’ll be empowered to make informed decisions on policy cover in order to establish customer’s payment eligibility, and as your knowledge and your confidence increases, you’ll be given more discretion and authority.

During training you will be working 9-5 only, however after training this role will be working rotating shift pattern.

The shifts are 8am – 4pm, 10am – 6pm or 9am – 5pm and you will be giving a rota of your shifts generally a month in advance.
