Main Purpose of the role: To supply parts to the workshop ensuring the smooth and timely flow of work through the workshop, delivering a high degree of customer satisfaction whilst achieving the departmental KPI’s and sales targets Key duties and responsibilities:

  • To effectively manage the flow of parts through the business

  • Ensures all materials are booked to the repair order

  • Complete VHC requests in a timely manner

  • Liaise with Workshop Control, Service Advisors & Technicians

  • Control stock levels and obsolete parts

  • Administration of returned parts and credit notes

  • Identify profit opportunities within the Department

  • Maintain awareness of Company aims

  • To carry out any other duties commensurate within the salary leave and purpose of the post.

    Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Motor Trade.

    Competencies:

  • Full clean Driving License

  • Excellent Organisational Skills

  • The ability to work under pressure

  • The ability to work well within a team

  • Providing the best possible service to both internal and external customers

  • Ability to utilise the parts function on a Dealer Management System

  • Ability to understand customer needs

  • Quote & negotiate on work costs.

  • Basic vehicle layout

  • Motor Trade legislation

  • KPI’s

  • Health & Safety legislation

  • Present a professional image

    Required education:

  • Secondary education

    Required experience:

  • Motor Trade: 5 years

  • Parts Management: 1 year

    Required licence or certification: Full UK Driving Licence

    Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
