About The Training Solutions Company

Our client is an award-winning training solutions organisations specifically focused on leadership and management development. With offices across the UK this position is based at the HQ in Leicester. Due to the training company becoming a prolific name they are now looking to expand by growing a new business development team across the UK. As a Business Development Manager you will establish your career with an exciting training solutions company who deliver an outstanding training product across tier 1 and blue chip organisations. They also provide excellent leadership and management training programmes via public courses, e-learning and learning management systems to ensure the best and highest standards are met.

Our training client will be looking to expand their product portfolio but can only do so once they have the right sales professionals on board in order to help them grow.

About The Business Development Manager Role

As the Business Development Manager you will have an exciting opportunity to develop both your technical and client servicing skills in an established training solutions and learning and development environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Maintain existing relationships with key accounts and look to identify areas of how to grow them
  • Regularly meet face to face with clients to win and close new business
  • Achieve and exceed the targets outlined from the senior sales team
  • Gain a full understanding of the products in order to provide a clear and conscience overview of the product

About You

If you are currently in a training solutions, selling into HR or e-learning role or are currently working as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Account Manager this is the ideal next step in your Business Development Manager career.

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Manager:

  • Minimum of 2 years business-to-business sales experience
  • Ideally some experience in selling training or selling into HR
  • Comfortable in selling into C-Level professionals and Senior Sales Professionals
  • Ability to identify new opportunities when looking to make sales and close deals

The Business Development Manager receives a highly competitive salary paying from £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus Double OTE (Uncapped) and excellent company benefits.
