Due to internal progression, we are looking to recruit a transactional accounts assistant within our Sales Ledger Team. The role would suit someone currently studying AAT, or interested in progressing onto ACCA/CIMA.

Duties:-

The role will be part of a small team and will be focussed on providing all round support to the intercompany and third party invoicing processes. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Invoicing of rebates and contributions to third parties.
  • Invoicing of management fees and recharges to joint venture practices.
  • Invoicing of fees to Pets at Home on behalf of joint venture practices.
  • Reconciliation of sales ledger control accounts and intercompany balances.
  • Liaise with central finance function to resolve period end close process.
  • Credit control and customer relationship management.
  • Maintenance of invoice requisition templates.
  • Other finance work, as and when required.

Experience Required:-

  • Previous experience within an accounts environment.

  • Technical ability and exposure to account reconciliations.

  • Experience in managing cash collection and customer relations.

  • Excel skills are expected. Knowledge of other MS Office applications are desirable.

  • Proactive, articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
