This company is looking to recruit an Accounting Technician to provide assistance to senior members of the finance team. This is a pivotal position within the finance team and the post holder will work closely with the financial controller and managers within the practice.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Working with sales and purchase ledger
- Processing of invoices for authorisation by the financial controller
- Entering data onto relevant software packages used during the accounting process including Sage 50, Sage Payroll etc.
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets used by the finance team
- Assisting with payroll duties, including maintaining close links with the HR team
- Providing accounting support
- Monthly accounts reconciliation
- Assisting with credit control
- To become an integral part of the finance team with an ability to form strong working relationships with other members of the team
- Confidently communicate with people at all levels along with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
- A flexible approach to workload demands with an ability to prioritise tasks to meet the needs of the team and wider practice
- Providing administrative assistance to the financial controller where applicable
- Dealing with phone calls into the finance department and to resolve any queries through to completion
