Our client is a very exciting restaurant serving the highest quality all fresh food and drink and are looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef. This mid-sized operation boasts a buzzing, lively clientele with a really high end feel. That said it is very busy and you will need to be able to hold your own with food revenues varying between £15k-£30k per week! The site headed up by a great GM with an incredible passion for the industry and everyone in it. As such it can be nothing other than a roaring success - But they both need YOU in order to achieve this.

If you are currently an experienced Head Chef, but fed up with the mundane day to day of a branded operation or that of a company that isn't on trend, you will love these guys. You will be focused on your teams development and pushing the already high standards of service even higher with your keen eye for detail. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with professionalism and drive who wants to develop their career within an exciting company.

You will report directly into the GM and Op's Director, in order to help lead a team to deliver excellence across the board. You will be fully responsible for the kitchen team and be able to manage and motivate effectively. Having experience in training junior members of the team will be highly advantageous also as this company is all about progression and helping the team progress, something you will have a key hand in.

You should be a Chefs Chef with great cooking skills and ideas as well as being able to lead and direct a team under pressure - You should be approachable, able to get on well with and encourage people of all levels at the same time as having the hands on skills in ALL areas of the kitchen to step up and point your brigade in the right direction when the need arises.

Required Experience - You must have:

* The drive and passion to succeed and develop in the hospitality industry
* A proven ability in either a branded restaurant or Head Chef Level within a very busy fully fresh independent (Essential)
* The ability to manage a high volume operation ideally 20k and over
* The ability to manage a very high number of daily restaurant covers
* A keen eye for detail
* The drive to develop others
* A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
* Exceptional at forming strong relationships within the company

You will need:

* Excellent Communication skills
* The drive to succeed
* Passion for fully fresh, quality, honest food
* A very 'hands on approach'

In return for all your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with a salary of around £30,000 including other company benefits.
