INTERNATIONAL SALES CONSULTANT - POOLE - £25,000 - £30,000 PA OTE £40,000 PA(ref 01651)Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a international sales executive to join an energetic distribution company in Poole this is a career advancing opportunity to grown with the companyThe role and responsibilities:? This role is a new permanent position. Our client is looking to find a dynamic and self-motivated individual wishing to develop their pro-active sales experience into a career into that of an International Sales Executive and with progress promotion to International Channel Sales Management.? The role is to proactively prospect for new distributors for the Our client range of printing systems into target countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia - as well as following up enquiries to become an Our client distribution partner.? Then to look after these new distributors and make them into successful and well managed Distributor for the full Our client product range.? In addition to follow up all sales leads from end users to ensure that they buy our clients product where appropriate.? Product training will be provided. The candidate must be willing to learn and become very familiar with all of our products. An affinity and love of new gadgets and technology would be a significant benefit.? Good written communication is essential as the role requires constant communication via e-mail and well formulated written (e-mailed) quotes to be produced. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is essential.? Good verbal communication is also required. Candidates must be very happy making proactive telephone calls to prospective and on-going clients.? The candidate must be willing - as their career develops - to travel and be away from home for a few days or even a week or so at a time. Thus candidates should enjoy the challenges and experience of travel to, and working with, clients in Africa, Middle East, Asia etc. If you don't like being away from home in the future probably one week a month - sometimes more - and don't like visiting more unusual / less visited countries then this position is not for you.? A car and full car driving license and passport is essential.? Finally the candidate must have the hunger and ability to ask for and close a sale. Commission is paid on every successful sale closed - and as such the commission structure is open ended.Primary Role? Business to Business Sales Role.? Searching, Prospecting and Recruiting new International Distribution Partners for Our client range of Digital Printing Equipment internationally.? Following up all sales leads in a proactive manner.? Inviting clients to our UK showroom in Poole for product demonstrations, training and ultimately closing sales.? Learning about and becoming very knowledgeable of our products.? Presenting our products in an enthusiastic, structured and professional way.? Managing and growing relationships with new Distributors.? Achieve or exceed sales targets as agreed.? To achieve promotion to International Channel Sales Manager.Additional Information £26,000 - £30,500 pa plus benefits that include a generous holiday entitlement, training and pension and free parking, mobile phone, lap top, uncapped commission estimated at OTE £40,000 paPersonal specification:The right candidate should have a passion and enthusiasm for sales, be self-motivated, and with an innate commercial acumen and a desire to close sales.The chosen candidate will need to be a good communicator in person, by telephone / Skype / Whats App, and in writing via e-mail with a good command of written English.Although the office is business casual the candidate must present themselves professionally and appropriately for a sales position where the distributor is expected to spend typically between £30,000 and £60,000 on demonstration equipment as a criteria for becoming an Distributor. Face to face meetings with prospective clients are frequent.The goal is to find new distributors for the company products in countries around the world. The candidate must be self-motivated to proactively seek out and communicate with potential target distributors through to bringing them on board, closing them on an initial order of demonstration equipment and stock, and to look after them going forward in a channel sales management role.So the ideal candidate will be driven to succeed, an excellent communicator both in written communication and verbally, with the innate ability to understand the numbers / sales / profit.
