Currently experiencing a period of growth, our client a fast paced, commercial business based in Ipswich is seeking to appoint a Sales Trainer. Reporting to a Manager, you will be responsible for providing learning & development solutions in technical, sales & soft skills, providing the sales teams with the relevant skills in order to fulfil the requirements of their roles.
Working as part of a team but also independently, you will be responsible for the design & delivery of training programmes for new & existing sales employees to ensure they have the skills & knowledge to undertake their roles.
To be successful, you will have proven experience of sales training and ideally have worked in a similar role. Exposure to the wider Learning & Development (L&D) function would be desirable but not essential. You will however, need to have a strong understanding of the end to end sales journey and possess a solid track record in coaching and developing sales team. Experience of training needs analysis, coaching and implementing & creating training programmes is essential.
Good communications are required as the ability to build and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders is paramount to this role. You should be comfortable presenting to large groups and be able to effectively organise your own time to ensure successful delivery against what can sometimes be challenging deadlines.
