This role sits within our
small internal Learning & Development team and will be responsible for
implementing our L&D People Plan within the business. This will include
designing and implementing both planned and reactive learning and development
initiatives, delivering training and reviewing and evaluating current
programmes to ensure they remain fit for purpose.

role is pivotal in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders
to ensure buy in is gained and the success of our internal programmes is maximised.


  • To design a range of training courses and programmes including soft skills and technical knowledge based solutions, as required by the business
  • To use and maintain our online learning platform to encourage a blended learning environment which can be employee led
  • To review internal training offerings and ensure it is fit for purpose
  • To make recommendations where needed for improvements and react to feedback
  • Support the development and maintenance of career paths and opportunities for progression
  • To design ad-hoc training programmes
  • To lead focus
  • Liaise with all levels of colleagues within the business including Directors
  • To provide L&D support to the business as and when required
  • To measure and evaluate the impact of the training provided
  • To deliver and facilitate training programs to an exceptional standard

Skills, Knowledge and Behaviour

  • Strong learning & development experience, preferably within the Hospitality/Leisure/Retail sector
  • Broad training design and delivery experience
  • Resilient and positive reaction to change
  • Experience in developing and facilitating a range of L&D solutions including management development
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise, plan and deliver to meet and exceed business requirements
  • Engaging, inspiring personality, flexible, proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Ambassador for exceptional customer service
  • Awareness of personal development areas
