A brilliant opportunity has come up for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the finance of one of the largest Casinos in London. The Casino affiliated with a luxury 5*Hotel in Central London and the gaming room is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Guests are able to partake in a variety of games including Blackjack, American Roulette and Three Card Poker. The site also offers VIP gaming rooms that can be rented out for private events and parties. The classy establishment attracts high fliers from London and around the world and has a strict, smart dress code. The highly successful Casino is turning over £250 million and is highly regarded as one of the most profitable Casinos in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful business in the Leisure industry. The successful candidate will be an ambitious accountant with managerial experience who has demonstrated commercial acumen in a recent role.

Key Duties:


  • Sales and Margin reporting and supportive analysis
  • Analysis of Stock, agency, consignment accounts and Casino profitability
  • Monitoring, control, analysis and feed back of sales, selling team & customer services overhead cost centre performance
  • Business partner with commercial managers and company marketing department in respect to new initiatives


  • Ownership of the Casino budget and half year forecast preparation, inclusive of analytical review and agreement of financial targets
  • Prepare budget presentations for the Casino
  • Assist with long term strategic planning and other planning computations
  • Assist with special project business plans and feasibility studies in new territories and new business partnerships

Assist on ad hoc projects, some examples are:

  • Development and progression of reporting systems and processes
  • Assistance with new company set ups and integration
  • Development of management performance reporting
  • Evaluation of business opportunities
  • Due diligence exercises

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced Leisure environment and to meet deadlines.
  • A qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confidence and ability to challenge & question information
  • Can demonstrate commercial acumen
  • Ideally with experience working in the Leisure and Hospitality industry, but not essential
