Role Overview

Responsible for supporting the development of new services, service changes, products and associated technology implementation to support the NHS SBS strategic agenda of growth in the specific area of responsibility P2P & Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and reviewing ideas from clients, staff and other sources

  • Gather and document business requirements

  • Design and propose innovative new or improved processes

  • Business processes flow mapping, documentation and configuration of business process systems

  • Shaping the way we work to maximize our business advantage and that of our clients

  • Reports on spend of investment funds to create value for money business cases

  • Assists in the quantification of financial and quality benefits in terms of orders, revenues, profit, cost savings, GPTW or NPS to both NHS SBS and client organisations as appropriate

  • Supports market demand analysis and go to market approach if required

  • Supports the creation and approval of commercial business cases

  • Supports the establishment of tactical plans, objectives and project governance

  • Undertakes administrative and operational matters ensuring achievement of objectives

  • Supports the establishment of business plan and operational goals

  • Makes proposals to change processes and IT systems to better meet needs of clients and NHS SBS.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst is essential for this role

  • General Ledger experience

  • An expert in Information resources, understanding how systems, data flows and processes, interact in areas of functional expertise extending to end to end business systems

  • Experience with business intelligence

  • Experience analysing & interpreting data

  • Analytically minded

  • Experience with MS Office

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • NHS experience

  • Financial accreditation

  • Robotics background
