Day Opportunities Coordinator

PCB Care are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established charity, who are currently looking for a Day Opportunities Coordinator to work in the Camden area for their Day Opportunities Service, supporting people with Autistic Spectrum Condition, challenging behaviour and complex physical support needs. Your day to day duties will include:

- Working full time, 35hrs a week, leading and developing their unique day opportunities project for adults with learning disabilities and complex support needs
- Connect with and value people with different communication and life styles and take initiative in helping them develop their interests, reach their potential - and have fun!
- Developing and implementing ideas for both individual and group activities for our bespoke service, which currently supports 7 people

To be considered for this great opportunity as a Day Opportunities Coordinator, you will need the following:

- At least 2 years' experience of leading and delivering activities to vulnerable client groups in a senior or management role
- Be proactive, organised and friendly
- A valid driving licence and willing to drive a mini bus, they would especially welcome, although this is not essential

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced individual to become their Day Opportunities Coordinator. In return you will be given a detailed induction and on-going training and support as required with full support from your manager and team.

This position would be suitable for people living in and around North London, Camden Town, Kings Cross, Primrose Hill, Belsize Park, Regents Park & Kentish Town.
