ASA's client are currently recruiting for an experienced Conference and Events Operations Manager for one of Glasgow Premier Events venues.

The ideal candidate will bring experience of working in a high volume catering environment and have an excellent knowledge of beverage and bars operations and experience in leading large staff teams. They will also have a strong understanding and practical knowledge of front of house management and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.

The main requirements of the role include:

- Delivering team targets through effective operational management
- Training and development of service delivery for managers and staff
- Monitoring and assessing financial performance
- Ensuring company policies and compliance issues are adhered to at all times
- Leading by example to demonstrate the highest standards in customer service

Your experience must also include:

- Management of hospitality suites up to 2000 covers
- Managing a team in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to perform within brand guidelines
- Have the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Full responsibility of staff training and duty management
- strong evidence of leading large staff teams of over 200 staff.

Further essential skills will include:

- Minimum of 3 years experience within a 4/5 star hotel in Food and beverage or conference and events operational management.
- Flexible approach to work in order to deliver first class service at all times
- Dedication to your team and customers alike
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Strong people management and budgetary experience

Salary- £27,000 Plus Bonus
