Deputy Service / Housing Manager - Day Services - Health and Social Care

Petersfield, Hampshire

£20,334.11 - £24,150.85 per annum

Our client, a national disability charity, has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join the team at their Community Day Services in Hampshire (Petersfield based).

These services provide a variety of activities for approximately 120 adults weekly, across 3 services including supported volunteering, educational and recreational activities.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to become part of their Day Service team as a committed Deputy Manager. If you would like the chance to influence the quality of choice, inclusion and participation of the people they support and feel you have the ability to lead and motivate a large multi-site staff team they would like to hear from you.

You will be person centered and maintain a high quality of care, supporting each individual to have control and independence over their life. You will ideally have some teaching experience including planning sessions for a range of activities. They need people whose values and practice empower and support individuals to reach their full potential. They also need people who have a good understanding of supporting individuals with complex needs, in particular individuals who are on the autism spectrum.

For this role it is essential that you hold an NVQ / Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification, as well as at least 2 years experience of working with people with learning disabilities along with managing a service and staff, see Job Description and Person Specification for more details. You will be expected to travel between your services so being a driver is essential for this role.
