I am currently recruiting a Marketing Customer Engagement Coordinator for a busy customer engagement team within a large corporate firm in Newcastle City Centre. This is a newly created role.

The Customer Engagement Team plans, produces, coordinates and reviews marketing communications and collateral using a range of media to achieve new business as well as customer development, retention and experience objectives within our end-user and manufacturer markets.

The role:

Develop a thorough understanding of the companies products, services and end-users (construction design professionals, contractors and clients) and manufacturers markets. Use market and customer research, data analysis, profiling and reports and through opportunities for direct customer contact.

Work with the Customer Engagement Manager and data analysis teams to understand where there is opportunity in the market and plan and deliver acquisition activities that will realize these opportunities, delivering against measurable objectives.

Use the CMS, CRM, customer profiling and other industry intelligence tools to identify target groups and track the status of prospects as they move through the customer journey.

Own the customer journey from discovery through to purchase ensuring all touch points are consistent, targeted and provide the best possible experience. You will celebrate customer success obtaining case studies and testimonials and reward loyalty.

Coordinate targeted messages via a range of communication channels including direct mail and email, telephone follow up by telephone based teams, videos, webinars, events, website content, social media, research, reports, case studies, newsletters and other branded collateral and materials.

Liaise with colleagues and external suppliers, use brand guidelines, the brand value proposition guide and the clients engagement message matrix to create innovative and creative materials within budget and deadlines.

Your activity will generate inbound sales enquiries and ensure our office and field sales and service teams have what they need to provide the best opportunity for conversion.

The candidate

A passionate advocate for outstanding customer experience who will have a marketing or related qualification and experience of coordinating targeted communications via a range of tools in a marketing, communications or customer engagement role, ideally in a business to business environment.

Be able to write engaging copy and apply our brand correctly as well as communicate well verbally, in writing and via presentations with experience of delivering complex messages to a variety of audiences.

Be a self-starter who takes ownership and acts positively and pro-actively to make things happen. Also a team player, able to work with colleagues from many teams, individuals at all levels.

Have planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and work under pressure and to tight deadlines. A flexible approach to working is required to respond to changing business and customer requirements.

Have computer skills including good capability of using Microsoft Office products; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; and Content Management Systems (CMS).

Knowledge of the construction industry and experience communicating about technical products and services or subscription services would be an advantage.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
